Richard Dalla-Riva MLC is the Victorian Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations and Manufacturing, Exports and Trade. Richard has held various Shadow Ministerial roles including Manufacturing and Export, Community Development, Innovation, Scrutiny of Government, Freedom of Information, Industry & State Development and Major Projects. A former Police Detective with Victoria Police Force, Minister Dalla-Riva also holds an Associate Diploma of Business and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Prior to entering politics, Richard worked in senior management roles within the manufacturing, disability, retail and international company sectors. Minister Dalla-Riva is the State Member for Eastern Metropolitan Region. |

Christian Edwards left a Masters in Journalism at the UTS Australian Centre for Independent Journalism to work as a Producer for the Online Media Group in 2000. He travelled to China where he spent almost seven years working in media and the arts. Before becoming the first Australian to join the China National Theatre Company (中国国家话剧团)in 2008, he wrote television series in Dalian (2002), ran the nightly 'Guangdong Report' for GDTV in Guangzhou (2003-2005) and was the Executive Publisher of China International Business magazine in Beijing (2006-2007). A fluent French and self-taught Mandarin speaker, Christian has written and consulted for Agence France Presse (AFP), the New Express Daily (新快报) and numerous international media and arts organisations. He is currently a Senior Correspondent for the Xinhua News Agency 新华社 )and the newly launched CNC World and regularly consults on Shakespeare in Theatre and on contemporary Chinese media. He is the co-author of the recently published 'Reflections:

Tom is a China specialist concentrating on helping others overcome cultural and business barriers when working or dealing with ‘China’. Tom’s long term engagement with China has resulted in an impressive Chinese network and the ability to enable business outcomes. A Mandarin speaker, he has worked in numerous organisations in China-focused program management, including; The Asialink Centre (Melbourne), Austrade (Beijing), Red Gate Gallery (Beijing) and as writer and reporter for the ABC in both China and Australia for Radio National’s Asia Pacific Program. Tom has managed programs and facilitated business and government partnerships in China for the City of Melbourne including raising the profile of the Melbourne-Tianjin Sister City relationship. In 2007, Tom was keynote speaker at the CPA China Summit.
